What the students think:“Having met Eddie at a couple of blues courses I was delighted to have the opportunity given by lockdown to have one-to-one lessons with him over Zoom during the week. What Eddie brings to his teaching is (1) willingness to teach you what you would like to learn rather than imposing his own choices on you (though he’ll happily make suggestions) (2) if it’s a song he’s not already familiar with, an awesome (to me) ability to work out on the spot from a recording (YouTube or music file) what the performer is doing and break it down into chunks and (3) most important of all, great patience with your incompetence.”>After an initial demonstration he’ll take you through each section step by step, record it, and sens the recordings to you after the lesson so that you can practise for next time. In addition, while he can duplicate what is happening on the recording, he brings his years of performance skills to make suggestions about how he might play the song , which in turn means you can make it your own using ‘tricks’ brought from other styles. Highly recommended” Stuart, Guitar Student
